The Promoter
The promoter is Flight Club Darts Limited of 36 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Ireland and/or Flight Club Darts (Ireland) Limited (together “Flight Club Darts”, “Us” or “We”).
The Competition
The title of the competition is the “Billionth Dart Competition”.
The first prize is a trip for up to four people to any Flight Club Darts location globally (the “Trip”).
The competition will run from 09:00 on Monday 20th April 2026 (the "Opening Date") to 00:00 on the day on which the billionth dart is thrown, as determined by us (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
To enter the competition you must make a booking at one of our locations and attend for Social Darts or brunch between the Opening Date and the Closing Date, or enter into games via your phone (on our quick player entry or rapid entry games). You must have attended all bookings no later than 00:00 on the Closing Date for them to be included in the competition. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
Our locations include all Flight Club Darts locations in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and the USA.
No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to register for use of any website upon which you make your booking. You may opt out of entry into the competition at the time you make your booking.
We will not accept:
- responsibility for details of bookings being delayed or not received, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
- proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
From the competition entries, we will select the winner at random within twenty-four (24) hours of the Closing Date.
The Prize
The Trip is for one winner to travel with up to three friends or family members to any Flight Club Darts location globally, although we reserve the right to remove any location from this list of destinations.
The Trip will include return travel and five nights’ accommodation (in up to two rooms), with €1,200 (or local currency equivalent) to spend in a Flight Club Darts location in your chosen city. The Trip will take place within twelve (12) months of April 2026, subject to availability.
All persons travelling must be aged 21 years or over.
The Trip does not include travel insurance, transfers to and from airports or stations, food and drink (except for the visit to the Flight Club Darts venue), spending money, taxes or personal expenses. Any additional costs are the responsibility of the winner.
You are responsible for ensuring that you and your travel companions have valid passports, visas (if required), and travel documents.
The prize is subject to availability. There is no cash alternative, and the total value of the Trip shall not exceed €18,000.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom and Australia aged 21 years or over, except:
- employees of Flight Club Darts and its group companies;
- employees of State of Play Hospitality Limited, Flight Club Darts (Australia) Limited, Flight Club Darts (Ireland) Limited, Flight Club Darts (North America) Limited, The Loyola Group, NightOwl Entertainment Group or Electric Shuffle Limited;
- employees of agents or suppliers connected with the competition; or
- immediate family members or households of the above.
By entering, you confirm that you are eligible. We may require proof of eligibility.
We will not accept entries that are:
- completed by third parties or in bulk;
- illegible, altered, forged or tampered with; or
incomplete.
Each qualifying booking attended counts as one entry. Entries must be made by the individual making the booking.
We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant acting contrary to the spirit of the competition.
Winners
Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
We may publish or make available the surname and county of residence of the winner to demonstrate that a valid award has taken place. This information may be published on our social media channels within seventy-two (72) hours of the Closing Date.
We will contact the winner using the email address provided at the time of entry.
If you object to your details being published, please contact us at [email protected]. We may still be required to provide winner details to the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland or other regulatory authorities on request.
Claiming the Prize
The winner must claim the prize within seventy-two (72) hours of notification by responding to our email.
If the prize is not claimed within this period, the claim becomes invalid and we reserve the right to select an alternative winner at random.
The prize cannot be claimed by a third party.
We do not accept responsibility if the winner is unable to take up the prize.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, to the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, we shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.
Your statutory rights under Irish consumer law, including the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 and the Consumer Protection Act 2007, are not affected.
Data Protection & Publicity
We will process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, and in line with our privacy policy.
General
If there is any reason to believe there has been a breach of these terms, we may exclude you from participating.
We reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the competition where necessary.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
